Kabaragoya & Rambo

Well today has been an interesting day. While on may to watch the new Rambo movie at Liberty Cinema i happened to come across a Kabaragoya (or Water Monitor as known to the rest world). The little bugger happened to be lurking around the neighborhood where i live. Happened to capture a small video on my Nokia N70 while it crept away and apparently started to stare at a wall. Anyways check out the video below.

Well the new Rambo movie was extremely actioned packed especially the last 1/3 of the film. Stallone as in the reviews doesn’t say much throughout the movie but its all the better he didn’t. The film was extremely voilent and gorery as well. The excutions of the civilians by the Burmese army (by the movie was shot actually shot in Burma, and Stallone was actually threatened to stop filming by the locals) was really brutal. But overall an okay movie still worth the watch if your the action/war type movie lover.

And the latest from the premiership is that Man Utd have drawn 1-1 with Tottenham (Yes!!!! they have dropped 2 points) while Arsenal have beaten Man City 3-1 (which means Arsenal are 2 clear). At this point i’m routing for anyone but Man Utd although that Great Club (Yes i mean Liverpool are surely out of the title race).

Sri Lanka have also sadly lost their 2nd warm-up match against Tasmania by 7 wickets. The bad news is also that Jayasuriya was hit in the jaw and was forced to retire. With our first game a few days away what will this mean for our preparations against India….

  1. Hopefully Jayasuriya’s injury isn’t too bad and he can start playing soon. As for Stallone – well he mumbles more than he speaks.

  2. Yeah IPL ur right about the mumbling part. Thank God the cinema sound quality was good, otherwise it would be impossible to understand what he’s saying..
